In 2010, STG installed two mooring points as a subcontractor under Phase I of the project along the Niglikfak River. STG was awarded the next two phases of mooring points installation along the Yukon and Kuskokwim rivers in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Both Phases II and III were two-year projects that STG completed in 30 days. The rapid project completion is not only a reflection of our expertise in logistics management and project execution, but also of the companies with whom we choose to partner. In this case, we called upon our long-standing relationships with certain barging and transportation companies that operate in rural Alaska to expedite completion. In 2012 and 2013, USACE presented STG its Celebrate Safety award for safety excellence for Phases II and III of the mooring point projects.. Phase 1, 2011-2012: Chevak. Phase 2, 2012 Yukon River: Nunam Iqua, Mt. Village, Kotlik, Grayling, Emmonak, Anvik, and Alakanuk. Phase 3, 2013 Kusko River: Good News Bay, Kongiganak, Akiachak, Upper and Lower Kalskag, Crooked Creek, and McGrath.
