STG is dedicated to providing safe, well maintained equipment, and proper training and instruction on safe work methods and operating procedures.  STG maintains equipment and job site conditions in ways that eliminate risks to employees, visitors, the public and damage to property, equipment, and the environment.  It is the policy of STG to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and to take immediate action when any safety violation is observed.

At STG, we understand that our overall company success is directly linked to our safety efforts.  Our goal is 100% accident-free work while ensuring quality services.  All employees are expected to exercise good judgment while executing safe and responsible work practices. STG works to make sure every employee goes home from work in the same condition in which they arrived.

Our work always presents new challenges due to the nature of heavy industry contracting and the environmental conditions encountered in remote job sites.  Safety is the greatest priority in all jobs STG undertakes.

STG currently maintains an industry-leading experience modification rating.  This in itself is an accomplishment which STG is very proud of and one that is a direct result of the company’s experienced workforce striving to maintain safe job sites at all times.  While we are proud of our safety record, STG strives to make continual improvements on the operational level that adhere to or exceed industry standards. 

We believe that every employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and for observing all safety rules, procedures, and policies, including the responsible and correct use of safety equipment, tools, and equipment.
